Getting your Art on the Wall - Framing FAQ
Watercolours are unique in that they are painted on paper not canvas. This means they need a little love and care before they can be proudly and safely hung on the wall. This often means framing your watercolour.
I recommend having your Original Watercolour professionally framed which will protect it for years to come and give your art a polished look that matches your decor.
Watercolours should be matted in an Acid Free Matt. This helps protect them from fading and damage. Mats also creates a buffer between the painting and the glass to protect it from moisture fluctuations. You may also choose UV protected glass to protect it from sun damage and fading.
However you choose to protect and present your watercolours there are many options for colour, size and style!
